Frank Gorshin is the kind of guy who is likely to look and seem familiar.  That's in large part due to the fact that he has had a wonderful and long career in front of the camera.

As you can see he was more than happy to pose for pictures and take time to interact with the fans, though I think even he thought it was a tad ironic that he had been invited by Sci Fi Channel to hype a show they appear to be considering bringing back as opposed to being invited to hype some of his albeit older work, but better known work as well.

It is a shame that SciFi Channel's involvement with the Black Scorpion cast signing seemed ambiguous.  If you went to the official sci fi website for the show you found that they were promoting this event as a chance to meet most of the cast -- and yet they were not advertising it half as well at the event itself. 

I know a lot of people who I ran into later were stunned to see I had found Frank Gorshin and gotten my picture taken with him -- but it was a chance I couldn't miss!  And I'm glad I didn't.
