Traci Lords

    I have to admit that I had no idea who Traci Lords was when a friend first told me she was signing.  He had mentioned not so much because he thought it was a signing I'd want to get in line for -- but because he knew I had my camera with me to take photos for the website and that I was covering the autograph area specifically for the website and he was hoping that I would make sure to be in her area when he got to the front of the line.  As the expression goes, what are friends for?  Of course I'd be happy to be his official photographer as well.

    I got there a little before she arrived and took a few photos of the long line of fans awaiting her arrival.  She was scheduled to enter at 11:00 a.m. and people had started lining up around 10:00 a.m. to be among the first to see her.  In a case like this I think most fans have a valid concern that the person they are waiting in line to see might get tired and they want to go through the line before that happens.

    The photo to the right is a nice shot of Traci posing for the media cameras with the two First Wave comics she had with her.
