CROSSGEN ANNOUNCES CREATOR SCHEDULES FOR WIZARD WORLD CONVENTION
Thirteen Creators To Sign And Sketch During The Three-Day Event
TAMPA, FL., August 10, 2001 - CrossGen Comics has finalized the booth schedule for its creators at the Wizard World Chicago convention, August 17-19. CrossGen will have creators appearing at their booth all day, every day of the three-day event.
CrossGen will have at least 13 different creators signing and sketching during the con. At all times during the weekend there will be a minimum of six creators appearing. Fans are urged to bring their CrossGen comics to the booth and have their favorite creators sign them and maybe even do a sketch.
CrossGen comics will be available at dealer tables throughout the show floor, as CrossGen will have copies on hand for retailers to purchase and resell. And as has always been CrossGen's policy, creators do not charge a fee for autographs or sketches.
While the creators will appear all day, every day, their lines grow quickly.
At the recent Comic-Con International, lines grew so quickly that they needed to be capped. To assure yourself of receiving an autograph or sketch, CrossGen asks that you arrive early to avoid missing out.

"I believe that our approach to conventions is a bit...unconventional," said Ian M. Feller, CrossGen's Director of Corporate Communications. "We realize that the fans are who we work for and we want to make sure that when they come to the CrossGen booth they leave happy. I don't think there's another publisher that has continuous signings by this many creators each and every day. And unlike some of the others, with CrossGen, you know that your favorite creator is going to be there when he's scheduled."
