I'll start with the show that got the least attention - Adventure, Inc. Adventure, Inc got nothing more than a trailer shown - but it was a good enough trailer that I'll check the show out when it hits the air.

Mutant X was the first show to get any real discussion from the panel, mostly because the Andromeda girls were running all over the convention center in search of room 6BCDEF. Unlike many of the panels that actors participate in this one was not instantly thrown open to questions from the crowd. Instead each of the actors was invited to take a moment with the microphone and describe their character. Where their character was at last season, and where their character was headed.

It was a great opportunity for each of the actors, and they made the most of it. Giving a real insight for how they view their characters, and letting their sense of humor show through!

The gals from Andromeda arrived just in time to give a little chat about their characters, and the transformations their appearance has gone through in the last season. Andromeda's hair took a season in the shade of Blue, though Lexa Doig says Blue is out, and I suppose we might even put the phrase "so 5 minutes ago" into her mouth. And Trance's tail is gone, dreads are in, and she's redder than she ever was purple, but still spends 4 hours in the make up chair to get that out of the world appearance.

When it was time for questions from the crowd one fan remarked how glad he was that Lexa Doig is the title character Andromed as she is a wonderful actress/character to name a show for. The next thing we know Lexa and Laura Bertram are joking "can you imagine it," in their best announcer voices "Next on Gene Roddenberry's Seamus Harper!"

Those girls have a wonderful sense of humor, and based on their tone of voice and expression it is easy to believe them when they say that the departure of Brent Stait/Rev Bem took a lot of getting used to. A member of their family was gone and as a result things felt odd on the set as they adjusted to the fact he wouldn't be coming in. That said they were positively beaming when they announced that Rev Bem will be coming back for an episode this season!

Most of the questions from the crowd were for Lexa Doig of Andromeda... though Laura Bertram helped her answer a few, and several times she tried to bounce things over to the Mutant X gang to keep them an active part of the panel, but after a while that wasn't enough for Forbes March.

First he casually slipped off the stage and the next thing we knew he was in line at the microphone to ask a question - and the entire audience was helping make sure he got his chance to ask a question! It was a wonderful turning of the tables, which made it instantly clear that this particular actor has a very clear understanding of his fans, and what they love!

He gushed over Lexa Doig - bounced up and down with enthusiasm, and finally asked what exactly she meant is a piece of video we'd been shown when she said "LOOSER!" Turns out that had been her reaction to flubbing a line, but since the producers had it on tape they edited it into a blurb about Andromeda being at the top of the syndicated ratings.

All in all it was one of the best panels I've ever been to!

I think it is very safe to say that everyone in the room that night would like to thank John Shea, Victoria Pratt, Lauren Lee Smith, Forbes March, Lexa Doig and Laura Bertram for taking the time to come out and share their love of what they do with the fans who love watching them every week!
