Leading off the night, “Veritas: The Quest” is a new action adventure drama which chronicles a father and son’s archaeological adventures in search of the truth behind the mysteries of history and civilization. The series stars Ryan Merriman (“The Deep End of the Ocean,” “Taken”) as Nikko Zond, Alex Carter (upcoming feature “Out of Time”) as Solomon Zond, Eric Balfour (“Six Feet Under,” “24,” upcoming feature “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”) as Calvin Banks, Cynthia Martells (“Nurse Betty”) as Maggie, Cobie Smulders as Juliet Droil with Arnold Vosloo (“The Mummy”) as Vincent Siminou.

“Veritas: The Quest” was created by Patrick Massett and John Zinman (“Lara Croft: Tomb Raider”) who serve as writers and executive producers. The series is produced by Touchstone Television in association with Storyline Entertainment and Massett/Zinman Productions, and is shot in Montreal and Toronto, Canada.

Following at 9:00 p.m., ET, is a modern-day take on the classic police drama “Dragnet.” The series stars Ed O’Neill (“Married…with Children”) as Joe Friday and Ethan Embry (“Sweet Home Alabama,” “Wes Craven Presents: They”) as his partner, Frank Smith

Executive-produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, one of television’s most successful creators and architect of the long-running “Law & Order” franchise, this updated version of “Dragnet” features two Los Angeles police detectives investigating crimes in Los Angeles. With his faith dwindling every day, his only belief is “we’re all alone down here.” Then something happens to change all that and Paul embarks on the most amazing journey of his life

“Miracles” also stars Angus Macfadyen (“Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood”) as Alva Keel and Marisa Ramirez (“General Hospital”) as Evelyn Santos.
