ABC TELEVISION NETWORK OFFERS FIRST-EVER LIVE, INTERACTIVE CONTENT FOR THE SEASON FINALE OF "ALIAS"
The ABC Television Network, in conjunction with Enhanced TV (ETV), will produce the Enhanced TV/"Alias" Interactive Spy Game for the season finale of "Alias". ABC's first-ever, live, interactive game for a primetime drama debuts during the season finale of "Alias" on SUNDAY, MAY 12, beginning at 9:00 p.m., ET.
Users of the Enhanced TV/"Alias" Interactive Spy Game will be prompted to choose an alliance -- either CIA or SD6 - and will subsequently be given information about their mission. In order to successfully complete that mission and score the most points, ETV agents will have to watch the "Alias" season finale. Top scorers are eligible for prizes. Content of the game will also include Enhanced TV polls, user comments and supplemental information about the show.
"We are enthusiastic to work with the network to provide ABC's first-ever, interactive application for a primetime drama. With the content of the application tied directly to the broadcast, users will be engaged throughout the show," said Rick Mandler, vice president & GM, Enhanced TV, Walt Disney Internet Group.

"Almost Thirty Years" -- In order to save Will's life, Sydney and Vaughn must destroy a familiar looking Rambaldi device, while Jack makes a risky deal with Khasinau's representative, Mr. Sark. Meanwhile, the CIA believes that one of their own is a mole for "The Man"; the Alliance comes to a decision regarding the fate of Emily Sloane (Amy Irving); Dixon's suspicions about Sydney intensify; and Sydney finds herself face-to-face with "The Man," on the season finale of "Alias," SUNDAY, MAY 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
"Alias" stars Jennifer Garner as Sydney Bristow, Michael Vartan as Vaughn, Bradley Cooper as Will, Merrin Dungey as Francie, Carl Lumbly as Dixon, Ron Rifkin as Sloane, Kevin Weisman as Marshall and Victor Garber as Jack Bristow.
Guest starring are Greg Grunberg as Agent Weiss, Joey Slotnick as CIA Officer Haladki, David Anders as Mr. Sark, James Handy as CIA Director Devlin, Amy Irving as Emily Sloane, Michelle Arthur as Abigail, Angus Scrimm as McCullough, Elaine Kagan as June Litvack, Derrick O'Connor as Khasinau, Ric Young as suit & glasses, Wolf Muser as Claudio Vesolo and Emily Wachtel as worker.
"Almost Thirty Years" was written and directed by J.J. Abrams.
This has the potential to be a lot of fun -- but with the timed questions popping up while I hope to be highly involved in the show... it could also turn out to be a bit of a distraction. That said, it's an experiment worth trying -- and I'll be tuning in, and online, Sunday May 12 to give it a shot!
