Skin: Uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer is behind the aforementioned drama about teens Adam and Jewel, who fall in love at a party, and then find that his judge mother (American Family's Rachel Ticotin) and D.A. father (Nothing Sacred's Kevin Anderson) are investigating her father (The West Wing (news - web sites)'s Ron Silver), the most successful porn producer in Los Angeles.

The O.C.: Produced by Doug Liman (Swingers and The Bourne Identity) and McG (Charlie's Angels and Fastlane), the O.C. stands for Orange County, a wealthy, waterfront California community that's the setting for the 90210-ish drama about a group of angst-addled teens and their equally troubled 'rents (including Tate Donovan and Peter Gallagher).

Tru Calling: Described by the network as "Alias-meets-CSI," the drama stars Buffy the Vampire Slayers Eliza Dushku as a recent college graduate who suddenly discovers she has the ability to travel back in time and prevent tragedies from occurring, including the opportunity to save her dysfunctional family members.

Arrested Development: Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment (8 Mile and Felicity) is behind this sitcom starring Jason Bateman as a widower and the sole voice of reason among his wealthy family members, who suddenly find themselves strapped for cash when the father is busted for his shady accounting habits. Also stars Ally McBeals Portia de Rossi and Mr. Show's David Cross.

Luis: Ubiquitous character actor Luis Guzman stars as the owner of a successful donut shop in Spanish Harlem.
A Minute with Stan Hooper: Norm Macdonald makes his sitcom return as the titular character, a New York City news magazine commentator who flees to Wisconsin to seek the Americana lifestyle he professes to love in his weekly reports.

The Ortegas: Adapted from the hit BBC comedy The Kumars at No. 42 and originally in development at NBC, the show stars Cheech Marin as the father of Luis Ortega, a guy who's launched his very own celebrity talk show in his family's backyard.
