Yahoo and the Hollywood Reporter report NBC is playing musical schedule:

The network said Friday that the cops-and-paramedics drama "Third Watch" will switch to the 10 p.m. Friday slot starting Oct. 31. In "Boomtown's" old 10 p.m. Monday period, NBC will debut "Average Joe," a new reality romance hosted by Kathy Griffin (news), for at least six episodes starting Nov. 3.

Tonight on Everwood:

Dr. Abbott (Tom Amandes) suspects that Linda (Marcia Cross) and Andy (Treat Williams) like each other more than they should, so he decides to set his sister up with more appropriate suitors. Meanwhile, Ephram (Gregory Smith) finally has the courage to tell Amy (Emily Van Camp) how he really feels about their relationship, but he is confused by his feelings for Madison (Sarah Lancaster), who comes to the rescue when Ephram needs help to pass his driving test. Andy tries to help the soon-to-be-remarried Reverend Keyes (guest star Tim DeKay) cope with his impending blindness, but the minister would rather leave his fate to God than attempt a new treatment that might save his sight.

Meanwhile, Vaughn struggles with his own feelings of jealousy and longing while Sydney is on her mission, aware of the pressures his job is putting on his marriage to Lauren; and Jack takes matters into his own hands to protect his daughter -- purposefully revealing Sydney's deadly secret to Dixon in order to preserve her position inside the CIA, on "Alias," SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
