Yahoo! reports:
Actor Chris Noth will rejoin the "Law & Order" franchise, joining Sunday night's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" as a series co-star starting next season, broadcaster NBC said on Wednesday.

Noth and Vincent D'Onofrio will each star in 11 episodes, the network said in a statement.

Noth was one of the original co-stars of "Law & Order" on NBC, and he will reprise the character of Det. Mike Logan on "Criminal Intent." He also guest stars as the character in an episode of the show set to air this coming Sunday.

Kevin Sorbo fans have a great deal to be talking about at the moment.

January 11th brought the release of Hercules 5th season on DVD, and just recently the Legendary Heroes website announced a Legendary Collection of the Ultimate Journeys in which they would bundle ALL six seasons of Hercules at one fantastic low price. ($179.99)

And now word is rapidly spreading across the web in articles like this one from Yahoo! that Kevin Sorbo is taking a turn at comedy.

ABC, in desperate need of some hit sitcoms, has ordered five comedy pilots for next season, including a project starring Kevin Sorbo of "Hercules" and "Andromeda" fame.

Sorbo is attached to "Bobby Cannon," about a pro football quarterback nearing retirement who has to mentor his replacement while figuring out what to do with the rest of his life.

Legendary Heroes is also releasing the Immortal Collection -- all six seasons of Highlander for $229.99 & the Xena Warrior Princess Anthology with all six seasons of Xena starring Lucy Lawless for just $199.99

(More Details about the Legendary Heroes DVD deals were posted yesterday.)

“Law & Order: Trial by Jury,” the latest series from Dick Wolf, architect of the most successful brand in primetime television with NBC’s “Law & Order,” takes viewers where they have never been before. For the first time, a “Law & Order” series is told not only from the point-of-view of the prosecutors and police -- but also from the perspective of the defense attorneys, defendants, judges and jurors.

“Law & Order: Trial by Jury” shows the inner workings of the judicial system, beginning with the arraignment, and continuing through the prosecutors’ complicated process of building a case, investigating leads and preparing witnesses for trial.

The series stars Bebe Neuwirth (“Cheers,” “Chicago”) as Assistant District Attorney, Tracey Kibre and Amy Carlson (NBC’s “Third Watch”) as Assistant District Attorney, Kelly Gaffney. Reprising his “Law & Order” role will be Fred Dalton Thompson as District Attorney Arthur Branch and the late Jerry Orbach as Lennie Briscoe, a retired police detective working as an Investigator for the District Attorney and Kirk Acevedo (“Band of Brothers”) also stars as Briscoe’s partner, DA Investigator Hector Salazar.
