The latest in TV cancellations per TVGuide.com:

THE WATCHWORD IS... AXED: It's official: Third Watch is calling it a night. After six seasons, NBC has reportedly pulled the plug on John Wells' mostly cop drama. Currently on hiatus to make room for Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Third Watch is expected to return to the schedule as early as next month with its final batch of episodes.

POINT TAKEN: Fox, meanwhile, has put Point Pleasant out of its misery, announcing that last Thursday's episode was the show's last. In an online posting, exec producer Marti Noxon told fans that she was relieved the show ended when it did. "[Tonight's] episode didn't quite come together the way I would have liked," she said, "and I would have hated for that to be our final word." And here's something to file under "T" for "Too little, way too late": Noxon says, "Episodes 9 through 12 were going to be pretty cool, though. Lots of twists and scary stuff." As reported Wednesday, Fox will air the final six episodes of Tru Calling in Point Pleasant's Thursday time slot beginning March 31.

Los Angeles Showcase!

This message comes straight from Adrian Paul to his fans by every avenue available online (thus we pass it along on behalf of those who passed it on to us):

Adrian Paul is producing and acting in a Showcase called “Things Just change”. The play is an original piece written and directed by Julie Osburn, one of the members of “Actors in process”(AIP), a group consisting of established actors who came together two years ago to work on original and published theater works. “Things just Change”, a dark comedy about how life can change in an instant when people are in love, is fully funded by AIP. This is the group’s first production and hopefully will receive funding for a full run by summer 2005.

The Showcase will be held on April 5, 6, 12 and 13th at the Odyssey theater in west LA. The Odyssey is located at 2055 S. Sepulveda, W. Los Angeles, CA 90025. Please do not call the theater for information. A suggested donation of $10 will be accepted at the door.

When Emailing or phoning please be specific as to what date you wish to attend and how many tickets you require. If no specifics are given, then no reservation can be made.

Once the correct information is given then you will automatically be reserved unless you are notified otherwise. Also please adhere to tickets requests since this phone line is solely for reservations and no other information about Adrian can be given.

The contact information is as follows:

Email Reservations: reservations@actorsinprocess.com
Telephone reservations: 818 872 3383

Please don’t expect to see Duncan Macleod because he won’t be anywhere in sight.
