Brent Stait portrays the role of Rev Bem, a descendant of the Magog alien race who acts as the starship’s resident scientist, sociologist and linguist on “Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda,” the weekly science fiction action drama from Tribune Entertainment that first aired in national syndication in 2000.

Gemini Award nominated actor, Stait brings an extensive list of both film and television credits to “Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda.” Most recently, he starred in “The Virginian” for TNT, directed by Bill Pullman. Other recent feature and made for television films include “H-E Double Hockey Sticks”/Disney, “The Roswell Project”/Credo/UPN, “Mystery Alaska”/Hollywood Pictures, “Five Desperate Hours”/NBC, “Ellen Foster”/CBS Hallmark, “Titanic”/CBS, “I Still Dream of Jeannie”/NBC and numerous others.

Stait has also guest starred in a number of television series including “Outer Limits”/Showtime/Trilogy, “First Wave”/USA Network, “Viper”/Paramount, “Stargate”/MGM, “Due South”/Due South Productions, “Poltergeist”/MGM/Trilogy,
