Laura Bertram plays the spirited but mysterious
Trance Gemini in “Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda,” the weekly science
fiction action drama from Tribune Entertainment that first aired in national
syndication in 2000.
Bertram brings a wealth of acting experience to “Gene
Roddenberry’s Andromeda,” including two prestigious Gemini Awards as
well as three nominations for the award. Her background includes a number
of television credits including “Dear America…So Far From Home”/HBO, “Ready
of Not”/Disney Channel, “Seasons of Love”/CBS, “Third Eye”/PAX-TV and
“Are You Afraid of the Dark”/Nickelodeon. She has also appeared
in a variety of made for television movies including “Night of the
Twisters”/Family Channel/Atlantis Films, “Sins of Silence”/Warner Brothers
and “Platinum”/Shadow Shows/Label Platinum Inc.
Bertram’s list of theater credits include the lead
in “Cinderella” and “Mario and the Magician” with The Canadian Opera
Company.
Her training includes seven years study with the
Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus.
