JILL HENNESSY, DENNIS FARINA AND CASTS OF NBC'S NEW HITS 'AMERICAN DREAMS' AND 'GOOD MORNING, MIAMI' WILL JOIN FESTIVITIES OF NETWORK'S 76TH-ANNUAL 'MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE™' ON NOVEMBER 28

BURBANK, Calif. -- October 24, 2002 -- Jill Hennessy (NBC’s “Crossing Jordan”), Dennis Farina (NBC’s “In-Laws”) and the casts of the network’s hit “American Dreams” and “Good Morning, Miami” will make special celebrity appearances on NBC’s 76th-annual “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™” on Thursday, Nov. 28 (9 a.m.- 12 noon in each time zone with a few exceptions).This year’s holiday extravaganza features an exciting mix of entertainment including a special appearance from Kermit and Miss Piggy of “The Muppets,” whose new television movie event, “It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie,” will be telecast in December on NBC.
Jordan stars in the title role as an inquisitive medical examiner on
“Crossing Jordan” (Mondays, 10-11 p.m. ET). Farina stars as Victor Pellet, the
overly protective father-in-law on NBC’s “In-Laws” (Tuesdays, 8-8:30 p.m. ET).
“American Dreams” (Sundays, 8-9 p.m. ET) has earned critical and popular acclaim
since its premiere in September. Cast members appearing at the parade are
Brittany Snow, Vanessa Lengies, Gail O’Grady, Tom Verica and Will
Estes.
“Good Morning, Miami” (Thursdays, 9:30-10 p.m. ET) is NBC’s newest
“Must See TV’ comedy sensation. Cast members appearing at the parade are Mark
Feuerstein, Ashley Williams, Matt Letscher, Tessie Santiago, Jere Burns,
Constance Zimmer, Brooke Dillman and Suzanne Pleshette.
The 76th
anniversary of America’s favorite Thanksgiving Day parade features all the
spectacular pageantry, fun and surprises that have made it a family favorite.
Heralding the start of the Christmas season, the event features colorful grand
floats, lively marching bands, amazing character balloons and special
performances by some of today’s hottest stars and Broadway performers -- plus an
appearance by Santa Claus.
