This New York story, starring Amanda Bynes (What A Girl Wants) and Jennie Garth (Beverly Hills, 90210) chronicles the urban exploits of two mismatched sisters becoming best friends. Valerie (Garth), the "adult," is a professional perfectionist. Holly (Bynes) is her adventurous, well-intentioned teenage sister, who manages to insert herself into Val's life at the most inopportune moments.

Sally, Kurt, and Chris are three perfect examples of "The Boomerang Generation," which, as the name implies, refers to kids who grow up, leave home for college, and then come right back to the nest. Left to fend for themselves by their globetrotting parents, the four create an unusual surrogate family marked by the usual sibling rivalries and power plays.
