Enterprise

Star Trek: Voyager DesktopScott Bakula has signed on to take us once more where no man has gone before... and given this is a prequel he will at the very least be getting to say "I met the Klingon's before you did."  ;)Star Trek: Voyager Desktop

And as for the generic Fall 2001 on their promo, the official StarTrek.com is now saying September 26, and the official UPN.com website has a little bit to say as well.

The final frontier has a new beginning.

A pre-quel set early in the 22nd century - bridging the gap between today's world and that of the original "Star Trek" - Enterprise focuses on the history of the galactic upheaval that leads to the formation of The Federation. Through their struggles, humans, vulcans, and numerous others, together will learn to work and live in harmony. Compelling tales of team bravery and individual heroism are sure to answer countless questions for die-hard fans of the series and capture the imagination of newcomers to the "Star Trek" universe.

Episodes of the previous four "Star Trek" series as well as nine feature films are currently seen in more than 100 countries, and have been translated into dozens of languages.

Starring a fresh young cast, this exciting new chapter continues to push the edge of the visual envelope with the kind of state of the art special effects that have made "Star Trek" a global phenomenon. Like their forefather before them, the crew of Enterprise will strive for a better life and boldly go where no one has ever gone before!
